Hiran Perera, CEO & Co-Founder of WalkingSpree has had a terrific career contributing to start-ups that have become industry success stories. Hiran joined Rogers Wireless, Canada’s largest mobile telephone operator, in its first year of operation and left when its annual revenues exceeded over billion dollars. Hiran then joined Shift Networks Inc, a VOIP telecom provider, as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and a Director. He successfully took the company onto Canada’s junior stock exchange in its second year of operation. Immediately prior to WalkingSpree, Hiran joined Resverlogix Corp. as the Chief Financial Officer, then a four-person private biotechnology firm, where among other responsibilities, he was involved in raising financing and managing the public reporting for getting listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Canada’s major stock exchange.
