Today, we interviewed Stephanie Murphy and Priscilla Maddela, who are a part of our Administration team, to find out what they have been doing around the office. Priscilla and Stephanie have good strategies to make sure they meet their goals of 10,000 steps or more each day.

Priscilla is always wearing her pedometer around the office and at home.

“I make sure to put my pedometer on from the time I wake up, to the time I go to bed,” she said.

Instead of taking public transit home or a short distance, Priscilla is walking.  She is currently averaging 10,000 steps a day, but hopes to increase her goal by the end of the week.

Stephanie, however, is no longer taking short cuts home as she had been before the competition started.  Now, she is taking the long way home and in addition to that, she is running three miles every day.

“Since I am not taking short cuts, I am now averaging 14,000 – 15,000 steps every day,” said added.

Horizon, you are probably wondering what kind of music these two kCurian’s are jamming out to while exercising?  We decided to ask Priscilla and Stephanie what they enjoy listening to while walking.  Priscilla enjoys listening to 90′s pop music, particularly Spice Girls and while running, Stephanie listens to mostly Tom Petty, but loves all classic rock.
