Sometimes my skin gets so dry that I feel like literally scratching it off with my nails. I do a lot of swimming and the chlorine can also be a killer for my skin. It was recommended by my dermatolisist to NOT DRY OFF AFTER A SHOWER, but to immediately apply body lotion...leave for a few minutes and then very lightly pat dry. I do this from October to May and it has worked wonders for the last 10 years...If ever I forget or don't have the time to do this ...the itchiness comes right back
