If there are readers out there who want to kick the sugar habit/addiction, I would love to be of help--I kicked the sugar habit for my 2008 New Year's Resolution and have been off of it ever since. There are so many ways to get off of sugar, but knowing what foods have sugar as an ingredient is part of kicking the addiction! I have been very surprised over the year what foods have sugar!

I also have found some incredible natural sweeteners, some low on the glycemic index, even!

Also, for the bread lovers out there, there are breads so delicious that you would never guess that they are healthy for you. It does take some effort at your grocery store, or visiting a health food store, but it's doable to have some control over your blood sugar by eating more whole foods and less refined foods!
